<p style="line-height: 1.5;">Your library card is non transferrable. You are responsible for all transactions on your card including computer access and loans.</p>

<p>Theory Test Pro is a realistic online simulation of the UK&rsquo;s driving theory test. Free to use, it is suitable for anyone learning to drive a car, motorbike, passenger vehicle, or heavy goods vehicle. All the material is licensed from DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), which sets the test.</p>

<p>Library members can download digital books, comics, graphic novels, and audiobooks for all ages for free and read them on a computer, tablet, or mobile. And can also be accessed via the <a href="https://meet.libbyapp.com/">Libby eBook App</a> too.</p>

<p>Thank you for your interest in joining the LBBD Volunteering Team, helping residents in our community that need support and guidance. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, we have worked with local voluntary organisations to get support out to people that need it.</p>
<p>Volunteering for the council also offers the opportunity to learn and develop new skills, meet new people and it is a pathway towards seeking employment or further education.</p>

<h2>What is Social Prescribing?</h2>
<p>Social prescribing enables a GP, nurse or other healthcare professional to refer you to a specialist link worker to talk about the issues you are facing and find the right services to support you.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Link workers give people time, focusing on &lsquo;what matters to me&rsquo; and taking a holistic approach to people&rsquo;s health and wellbeing. They connect people to community groups and statutory services for practical and emotional support.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Social prescribing works for a wide range of people, including people:</p>
<ul>
<li>with one or more long-term conditions</li>
<li>who need support with their mental health</li>
<li>who are lonely or isolated</li>
<li>who have complex social needs which affect their wellbeing, i.e. money and debt issues, domestic abuse, employment</li>

This year Guy Martin is restoring and racing a 1983 Williams F1 car; he's attempting the land speed record in Bolivia; he's going for the fastest ever Channel crossing; he's customising his Ford Transit for record-breaking circuits around Nurburgring, and he's building a Typhoon. But that's TV stuff. It's not real graft. Real graft is his 70-hour week mending trucks for a local haulage firm. And between 'proper' jobs, over the summer, he was taytie farming on his new John Deere tractor, working in the fields from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. He was thinking of diversifying into muck-spreading, then the truck-fitting job came up. Oh yes - and besides the day job and the TV, he's bought his local pub, and the most terrifying he's ever done is sing on stage (out of tune) in front of the Kirmington crowd on New Year's Eve. Only Guy lives a life like this, and only his stories, in his own words, can do it justice.
